Chris Eubank Jr offered huge trilogy fight ‘at any weight’ as new comeback option emerges
Chris Eubank Jr has been called out for a third meeting by Liam Smith.
The British superstar recently lost in his rematch with Conor Benn, being dropped and outpointed by his bitter rival last November.

Eubank Jr looked a shadow of him former self, but later revealed he has been suffering during a health battle for which he is receiving treatment.
Given his struggles at 160lbs, Eubank Jr’s promoter Ben Shalom revealed he is planning to return to the boxing ring again but only at 168lbs.
He has already been given the green light to potentially force his way into the WBC title mix in the division.
But an alternative bout could be a third clash with Smith, whom has opened the door to a new meeting at any weight.
He told iFL TV: “Eubank and Conor Benn’s not having a trilogy, I believe that Eubank has gone to 168lbs.
“I’ll fight him at 168lbs if he wants. It’s 1-1, who the f**k leaves it at 1-1 but yeah, I think I would fight him at any weight to be honest with you.
“As long as I was fit and ready, I would fight him at any weight.”
Smith hasn’t fought since being comfortably outpointed in a shoot-out with Aaron McKenna on the undercard of Eubank Jr’s first meeting with Benn.
He has faced some calls to retire, but the opportunity of a big payday could be too much to turn down.
Could Eubank Jr vs Smith actually happen?
A trilogy bout between the pair could well be a realistic option for Eubank Jr in particular.

‘Next Gen’ was first stopped by Smith in their maiden January 2023 encounter, but got his dominant revenge in their rematch eight months later.
It was expected the chapter of their rivalry had come to a close, but it could well be reignited.
Eubank Jr could see it as a good marker to see if he still has gas in the tank to try and push for world honours.
Although WBC champion Christian Mbilli has opened the door to a WBC title defence against Eubank Jr already.
He said: “Of course! See, that’s what I’m talking about.
“Eubank, it would be a big fight. It would also be a fan-friendly fight.
“And I would love to represent Cameroon, France, and Quebec, Canada across the world.”
