Majborough heads into today’s race in strong form, absolutely hammering the rest of the field in his last race as he romped home by 19 lengths in Leopardstown last month, leaving two-time Cheltenham winner and favourite Marine Nationale in his wake.

Mark Walsh has already ridden the bay gelding to victory at the Cheltenham Festival before, reigning victorious in the Triumph Hurdle back in 2024, setting off as the joint third favourite at 6/1 to beat pip Kargese, yesterday’s Arkle champion, by a length and a half.
