Atalanta vs Borussia Dortmund

Atalanta to win and both teams to score – (was 27/10 NOW 14/5)

Borussia Dortmund have one foot in the last 16 after a 2-0 victory at Signal Iduna Park. But that’s just it. It’s only one foot.

Atalanta will be buoyed by their important 2-1 victory over Napoli in Serie A, which keeps them alive in the Champions League race for next season.

The Bergamo-based side were pretty formidable on home soil in the league phase, beating Chelsea along the way.

We could expect Atalanta to come out of the blocks fast, to try to half the aggregate deficit in the first 15 minutes. And build from there.

However, Borussia Dortmund could still find a route through to the next round, even if they don’t win on the night.

PSG vs Monaco

Bradley Barcola 3+ shots on target – (was 23/10 NOW 13/5)

Bradley Barcola isn’t always a guaranteed starter for PSG, but what he does bring whenever he is on the pitch is a fearless directness that can put defences on the back foot.

The stats prove this, with the young French forward taking 20 shots in his last 10 Champions League appearances. Six of these have been on target.

With the tie still on a knife-edge Barcola may well be in the mood to make it his night in Paris.

Juventus vs Galatasaray

Weston McKennie to score anytime – (was 17/10 NOW 15/8)

Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie has just put pen to paper on a new contract extension that will keep him at the Old Lady until 2030.

The American has been a growing influence in the team over the years since returning from his loan spell with Leeds in 2023.

He has played every minute in eight out of the club’s nine Champions League fixtures so far this season, delivering three goals and one assist in that time.

McKennie is a very versatile player, but can often be ‘Johnny on the spot’ and ghost into the penalty box to score crucial goals.

Juventus face a three-goal deficit to overturn. Can McKennie contribute to a comeback?

Real Madrid vs Benfica

Vinicius Jr to score 2 or more – (was 13/2 NOW 8/1)

Vinicius Jr scored the only goal in a highly-charged and controversial 1-0 victory over Benfica in Portugal last week.

With the fall out of that fixture laid bare to all to see, the second-leg could be set up for Vinicius to have the final say.

While only a one-goal margin to overcome, Benfica will have to take the game to Madrid at some point.

This could mean plenty of space to exploit for the Vinicius, Rodrygo, Mbappe and Madrid supporting cast.

Sweeping counter-attacks could be a feature as we enter the final 30 minutes of the match.
