As the New York Yankees have clinched a playoff berth, the team is looking to add another World Series trophy to its historic resume, with the club led by superstar Aaron Judge. With Judge just returning from the injured list (IL) for the Yankees last week, the slugger now faces an injury concern after being taken out of Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Twins.

According to Brendan Kuty of The Athletic, Judge has been taken out of the contest for an unknown reason at the time of this writing.

“Judge out of the game early,” Kuty wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “Not sure what that's about. But we get all crazy; there's a chance Boone is giving him a half-game before the flight to Arizona and the off day tomorrow. The Yankees like to do a lot of ‘rest day before the off day,' and maybe this is half that.”
