The Wu-Tang Clan are heading to Detroit this Thanksgiving.
The iconic rap group will be taking center stage at the Thanksgiving game between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears at Ford Field.
“Our Thanksgiving Day Classic is one of the greatest traditions in sports, and Wu-Tang Clan is one of the greatest performers in music,” said Rich Haddad, Detroit Lions president and CEO. “We are thrilled to have Wu-Tang headlining our Thanksgiving halftime show and grateful to Marshall and Paul for their partnership.”
The 90s rap group recently wrapped their farewell tour, Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber, last month in Phoenix, Arizona. They will also be honored by being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame taping on Nov. 14, with the broadcast taking place on Dec. 8 on ABC and streaming the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
This marks the second year that the Lions will have a halftime show during their Thanksgiving games. Last year, Jack White was the halftime show performer. The Thanksgiving shows are executive produced by Eminem and Paul Rosenberg.
So far, the Dallas Cowboys have announced their Thanksgiving halftime show performer which will be Miranda Lambert when they face the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium. The Buffalo Bills will host the Kansas City Chiefs at Highmark Stadium for the Thanksgiving game this year with the Goo Goo Dolls hitting the stage at halftime.

The Christmas Day halftime shows are another stage for artists as Beyoncé's 2024 performance for the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game went viral and in 2025 when the Minnesota Vikings hosted the Lions and Snoop Dogg was the headliner.
Fans can tune in to watch the Bears-Lions game on CBS at 1 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving (Nov. 26).
