Luke Littler holds the Phil Taylor Trophy as he celebrates winning the World Matchplay

Luke Littler is targeting a clean sweep in 2026 having already earned more than £3million this year.

So far he has won the World Championship, World Masters, UK Open, the Premier League, the World Cup and World Matchplay titles to add to his overall net worth that includes an estimated £4.77million in professional tournament prize money won in his career.

The 19-year-old now needs to win five more titles in order to complete a clean sweep and create history.

Littler has previously brought up the fact he didn't like the double-in, double-out format of the tournament.

He said: "One of the toughest tournaments to win, with the Worlds, the Matchplay, [and] the Premier League."

However, that did not stop Littler from winning 6-1 in the 2025 edition against Luke Humphries.

World Grand Prix Darts: Prize money

In 2025, a total of £600,000 was up for grabs in Leicester and the winner received a hefty £120,000.

The runner-up claimed half of that sum in £60,000, while the semi-finalists are distributed £40,000.

Quarter-finalists got £25,000, last-16 appearances earn you £15,000, and if you lose in your first game, you get a consolation prize of £7,500. 

The prize money in 2026 will go up to £750,000, with the winner taking home £150,000.

World Grand Prix Darts: Favourites

Last year, Littler won his first title at the Leicester event and was eyeing up the No.1 spot.

After his win over Humphries, he said: "This week has been so tough but now I've picked the trophy up... there's not many left.

"I think I played very well tonight, I was always ahead of him."

On the prospect of leapfrogging Humphries, Littler added: "£70,000 behind not a lot of prize money, especially what we guys play for.

"Luke will know I'm behind his back now, I'm onto him!"

World Grand Prix Darts: Where to watch

The World Grand Prix starts on Monday, September 28 through to Sunday, October 4.

It is being held at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester.
