The Philadelphia Eagles are currently in a bit of a tailspin, having lost three straight games after a late meltdown on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars in England. The Eagles now sit at 2-3 on the year, and have some dire injury situations at several key positional groups, including most notably the offensive line.
Many fans are wondering if the team is any closer to getting stalwart Landon Dickerson back after he has spent the opening chunk of this season on the injured reserve list.
“Eagles LG Landon Dickerson is eligible to return from IR this week but Nick Sirianni wouldn’t say if that’s going to happen or not. He does say Dickerson has been working hard behind the scenes,” reported Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia on X, formerly Twitter.
Dickerson has been dealing with a bone bruise in his right knee that has kept him out for the beginning of this season, but they sure could use the veteran now.
Philadelphia recently saw its offensive line shaken up by the retirement of Lane Johnson, and then they promptly confused fans with their trade of center Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens, leaving their depth at that position depleted.

In any case, the Eagles will next hit the field on Sunday for a home game against the Carolina Panthers.
