After Friday's resounding victory in the NBA Cup group play stage against the Los Angeles Lakers, Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will miss Sunday's game against the Clippers. The NBA's latest injury report lists Curry and Green out, along with Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler. Curry is out with a right knee injury, while Green is out with a bilateral low back injury.
This comes as the Warriors have breathed life back into their early-season journey. After starting the season 0-3, they've since beaten the Denver Nuggets, Timberwolves, and the Los Angeles Lakers to sit at 3-3. Last night's 112-95 victory over the Lakers was no easy win.
The Warriors fell 38-15 in the first quarter and 40-15 at the start of the second quarter, fueled by Luka Doncic, who scored 21 points and knocked down five 3-pointers. Ultimately, the Warriors were able to fight back, scoring 38 points of their own and holding the Lakers to 15 points before winning the rest of the game and ultimately winning 112-95. Curry finished the game with 31 points, four rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block, while knocking down eight 3-pointers. Meanwhile, Draymond Green had a quiet night scoring, but still finished with nine assists, four rebounds, three steals, and one block.

“To hold them under 95 after a 38-point first quarter is pretty impressive from everybody…It's great in-game adjustments. It's great effort. Um relentless, you know, rotations out there. It was that's from top to bottom. Everybody has to be a part of that. And defensively, you give yourself a chance in a lot of games if you can do that.”
