At this point, Jason Kelce's daughters are accustomed to their aunt, Taylor Swift, who married Travis Kelce this summer, but there was a time when they first met her.

During the Sep. 16 edition of New Heights, the Kelce brothers talked about interacting with a star as big as Tom Cruise, who sat with Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs' season opener against the Denver Broncos.

“We had to break that habit with the girls,” Travis Kelce recalled. “When they had to meet Aunt Tay Tay, they were calling her ‘Taylor Swift.’”

Jason Kelce confirmed that his daughters would call the pop singer by her full name in any scenario. Hopefully by now, the girls are used to their “Aunt Tay Tay,” as Travis Kelce called her.

Swift has been fully welcomed into the Kelce family this summer. She and Kelce married on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden.

The World's Most Famous Arena hosted the most famous wedding in the world. There were a reported thousand guests at the Garden for the nuptials.

Adam Sandler, a known Swiftie, officiated the ceremony at MSG. He also previously starred alongside Kelce in Happy Gilmore 2 in 2025.

Kelce enters his 14th year in the NFL as a married man. The wedding happened almost a year after the couple announced their engagement in August 2025. It had been almost two years since they first went public with their relationship.

The Chiefs are rolling after routing their division rival Broncos in Week 1. Kelce turned back the clock with a 59-yard reception during the game, and he was the Chiefs' leading receiver on the night.

Week 1 was notably the return of Patrick Mahomes, who was coming off a torn ACL injury suffered in December 2025. He looked like his normal self early, rushing for the Chiefs' first touchdown of the season.
