Watford are set to sack Alessio Dionisi, talkSPORT understands.
The Italian only joined the Championship club as head coach in June but is already heading for the exit after a poor start to the season.

After a 2-1 victory over Southampton on the opening weekend, they won just one match in the following eight.
talkSPORT understands that their Tuesday night trip to Cardiff City was critical for Dionisi’s future.
However, they were 4-0 down at half-time during their 5-1 loss, and the 46-year-old is set to be dismissed at Vicarage Road.
More change at Watford
Watford are now due to have a fifth manager in the dugout in 2026 after Javi Gracia, Charlie Daniels, Ed Still and Dionisi.
The next appointment will be the club’s 25th since the Pozzo family took over in 2012.
Dionisi will leave Watford with three wins from 12 in all competitions.
Championship victories have come against Southampton and Preston North End, with another being at home Crawley Town in the Carabao Cup first round.
Watford are the first non-Italian club of his managerial career that featured a spell in Serie A with Sassuolo.
It remains to be seen who is in contention to replace him at the club.
However, whoever the successor is will be tasked with tasked with avoiding relegation to League One, five years after they lasted played in the Premier League, as they sit in 22nd.

Watford fans booed and chanted ‘Sacked in the morning’ to Dionisi during their 4-0 defeat to Burnley at the weekend.
“It’s difficult to speak about it after a 4-0 loss, because I’m not happy about the first half, and I’m not happy about the second half,” he said after. “In the first half, we played with 11 players.
“In the second half, we played with five different players, and I’m not happy with either half. The problem now is the attitude, the team, the coach, everyone. Not one player or one striker.
“(You could say) it’s better to play this player than someone else, but no, there is balance in this team. I listen to a lot of words said about my players, but now it is probably better we say nothing, because I don’t see one best player inside the team.
“To provide a good result, it’s better to play with mentality, to play together, not to play for one player, because in this team, there isn’t [one standout player].
“Probably in other teams, there is, but in this team, there isn’t one. Unless I don’t remember well, but I remember well… very well.”
