Aaron Rodgers traded some explicit barbs with Mike McCarthy during the Pittsburgh Steelers' clash with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.
Rodgers is nearing retirement as the 2026 campaign marks his last as a quarterback in the NFL. He will leave behind a legacy as one of the greatest players in league history, hoping to end his career with a bang on the Steelers roster.
Rodgers and McCarthy share history, having won a Super Bowl together on the Green Bay Packers. They reunited this year as they help Pittsburgh transition to a new era.
Pittsburgh is off to a decent start, going 2-1 after the first three games. They are going through a division rivalry contest with Cleveland in Week 4, showing the stakes of the matchup.
However, there seemed to be some miscommunication between the two parties. It angered Rodgers to the point that he yelled out an expletive towards the head coach. McCarthy wound up saying back-to-back expletives in response.
