LeBron James is getting his feet wet upon making his preseason debut with the Philadelphia 76ers during their clash with the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night.
James is preparing for the 24th season of his remarkable NBA career, his first with the 76ers. Following eight years with the Los Angeles Lakers, the veteran superstar decided to join Philadelphia on a two-year deal for at least one more shot at competing for a championship before his career comes to a close.
James didn't take part in the preseason opener against the New York Knicks, managing through a minor injury. Despite this, he regained enough fitness to make his team debut alongside Joel Embiid.
It took some time for James to get on the board. He didn't score until midway through the second quarter, pulling off a reverse layup against Brooklyn defenders.
