Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts delivered a fired-up clubhouse message Thursday after his team secured its fifth consecutive NL West title with an 8-2 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

The division crown continues a dominant run for L.A., who has now finished atop the NL West in 13 of the past 14 seasons. The Dodgers improved to 93-60 and celebrated at Great American Ball Park after clinching another trip to October.

FOX Sports: MLB took to its official X account, formerly Twitter, sharing a clip of Roberts addressing his players in the visitors' clubhouse as the two-time defending World Series champions celebrated their latest division championship.

Kyle Tucker powered the clinching victory with four hits and three RBIs, including a two-run homer in the first inning. He finished a triple shy of the cycle after adding two doubles and a single.

The Dodgers also successfully navigated a bullpen game one day after Blake Snell exited his start with left groin tightness. Justin Wrobleski opened with three perfect innings before Landon Knack followed with four scoreless frames.

Thursday's celebration carried additional significance for a club pursuing a third consecutive World Series championship. Los Angeles won the title in 2024 and 2025, while the 1998-2000 New York Yankees remain the most recent MLB team to win three straight.

The Dodgers had already secured their 14th consecutive postseason berth Monday, tying the Atlanta Braves' 1991-2005 run for the longest such streak.

Los Angeles still has postseason seeding to determine before the regular season ends. For Roberts and the Dodgers, another NL West championship guarantees their place as they prepare to pursue a third straight World Series title.
