The Golden State Warriors could be without rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg for Wednesday night's matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves after his career-best performance in Monday's 134-114 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Golden State listed Lendeborg as questionable with left foot inflammation and soreness on its latest injury report Wednesday morning, raising concerns about his availability as the Warriors look to build on their first win of the 2026-27 NBA season.
The 24-year-old rookie delivered an impressive performance against Denver, finishing with a career-high 31 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and one block in 31 minutes.
Lendeborg shot 9-for-19 from the field, including 1-for-8 from beyond the arc, while converting 12 of his 13 free throw attempts. His performance helped Golden State snap a three-game losing streak to begin the season.
Selected with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Lendeborg has quickly established himself as one of the Warriors' most productive players.
Through his first four NBA appearances, the rookie is averaging 21.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and one steal while shooting 45% from the field and 34.6% from 3-point range across 33.3 minutes per game.
His potential absence would create another challenge for a Golden State team already dealing with multiple injuries.

Alongside Lendeborg, the Warriors have ruled out Jimmy Butler III, Moses Moody and Kristaps Porzingis for Wednesday's contest.
Butler remains sidelined following right ACL repair surgery, while Moody continues recovering from left patellar tendon repair surgery. Porzingis is also unavailable because he is not with the team.
Minnesota faces significant injury concerns of its own.
Article Continues BelowThe Timberwolves will be without guard Donte DiVincenzo, who continues recovering from a torn right Achilles tendon suffered during last season's first-round playoff series against Denver.
Minnesota also recently lost superstar Anthony Edwards, who is expected to miss at least two months after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Edwards' absence removes one of Minnesota's primary offensive weapons as the Timberwolves attempt to maintain their strong start to the season.
Golden State enters Wednesday's matchup with a 1-3 record, while Minnesota sits at 3-1.
The Warriors will conclude their three-game road trip against the Timberwolves at 5 p.m. PT, with Lendeborg's status remaining uncertain ahead of tipoff.
