The Golden State Warriors have consistently shown their support for their WNBA sister franchise, the Golden State Valkyries, with members of the organization making appearances at games and celebrating the team's milestones.

Following the Valkyries' 68-63 victory over the Atlanta Dream in Game 7 of the WNBA Finals, the Warriors took to X to share their congratulations. The team's first post featured a simple but fitting message: “Golden State @valkyries MOOD,” reflecting the excitement surrounding the franchise's historic achievement.

The Warriors followed it with another post, officially celebrating their sister team's breakthrough. “The Golden State Valkyries are WNBA Champions! Congrats, @valkyries family 🏆,” the organization wrote, recognizing the accomplishment of the young franchise.

The support between the two Golden State teams has extended beyond social media. During the Warriors' offseason, several members of the Warriors showed up to support the Valkyries at Chase Center as their WNBA campaign gained momentum.

Stephen Curry was among those spotted attending a Valkyries game alongside his son, Canon. Gary Payton II and Will Richard also joined the crowd, showing their support for the franchise's postseason push.

The Curry family continued celebrating during the championship-clinching victory. Although Steph was not in attendance for Game 7, his sister-in-law, Sydel Curry-Lee, followed the celebrations on TV and shared a photo of the moment on Instagram. “That's big time @valkyries 🎉,” she wrote.

For the Warriors, the Valkyries' championship is another major achievement for the Golden State basketball community. With the NBA and WNBA franchises sharing the same city and basketball home, the historic title gave the entire organization another reason to celebrate.
