With the Minnesota Vikings taking on the Chicago Bears in Week 2 of the 2026 regular season, the fanbase has been awaiting the answer on who would start at quarterback for the team on Sunday. As Vikings star Kyler Murray has been limited at practice while in the concussion protocol, the team would reveal its quarterback situation on Friday.

Minnesota would take to their social media to announce that Murray will be out on Sunday against the Bears and that Carson Wentz will start the game, with J.J. McCarthy serving as his backup.
