Gabby Williams lifted Golden State in Game 7, scoring 28 of her 30 points in the second half. She also had three rebounds, two assists, two steals, and four blocks in a masterful performance. She was named Finals MVP after averaging 19.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.6 steals.
On Monday, she revealed that some guy congratulated her.
“Michael Jordan texted me this morning. That was awesome,” said Williams in the video posted by 95.7 The Game.

She became only the second player in league history to score 30 points in a winner-take-all game in the WNBA Finals after Penny Taylor did it for the Phoenix Mercury in 2007.
