USC football is getting ready for a major Big Ten showdown against Penn State on Saturday, but the Trojans continue to have some uncertainty surrounding one of their most explosive young playmakers. After being sidelined for the Washington game, wide receiver Trent Mosley remains on USC's injury report ahead of the important matchup with the Nittany Lions.

NFL insider Pete Thamel shared USC's latest injury report ahead of its road trip to Penn State. Mosley's availability remains uncertain heading into Saturday's game, according to the report.

However, Mosley is not the only USC player dealing with an injury concern as the Trojans prepare for their challenging matchup. USC's latest injury report lists four players as out for the game, including wide receiver Corey Simms, safety Kendarius Reddick, linebacker Roman Marchetti, and offensive lineman Kilian O'Connor.

Mosley is one of six Trojans currently listed as questionable. Apart from him, wide receiver Terrell Anderson, tight end Mark Bowman, offensive lineman Hayden Treter, and defensive tackles Jahkeem Stewart and Jide Abasiri have also been listed as questionable alongside Mosley.

The Big Ten's availability reports will continue to receive updates as the teams move closer to kickoff. USC will therefore keep monitoring Mosley's condition throughout the remainder of the week before determining whether the talented wide receiver is healthy enough to make his return against Penn State.
