St. Louis has been one of the UFL’s success stories, with fans packing the stadium where the Rams previously played. But there’s a problem for 2027, as explained by UFL co-owner Mike Repole in a lengthy post on Twitter.

As Repole puts it, the available dates at their home stadium mean that the BattleHawks “would play FOUR straight home games, followed by FIVE consecutive road games, and potentially return home for Week 10.”

“FOUR HOME GAMES. FIVE ROAD GAMES. Sorry, but that just DOESN’T WORK FOR US!!!!” Repole said.

Repole added that it doesn’t mean the UFL is leaving St. Louis. Really, why would they go? They have a strong following there.

He didn’t identify the scheduling conflicts, and it’s odd that the local authorities would load up the weekends in which it knew, or should have known, that the UFL would be playing.

Regardless, Repole has opted to take the issue public. Whether that changes things remains to be seen.
