The UCLA Bruins remained the Big Ten's only undefeated team with a 17-7 Week 7 home win over Wisconsin that made Bob Chesney's team bowl eligible in his first year as a Big Ten head coach. Fans wondered whether or not UCLA is the new Indiana as they moved to 6-0 on the season.
Chesney spoke to NBC Sports after the game, during which he shared a compliment on his backup QB Ty Dieffenbach, who filled in for the injured Nico Iamaleava.
“I think a lot like our team he's got resolve, he sticks together, he has confidence in himself and he's excited to go make plays, not nervous to make mistakes, and that's what I was very pleased with today.”
