Coach Kalani Sitake's BYU Cougars took down the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Week 6 action that included a controversial late pass interference no-call. The game also included a key Fighting Irish injury and a clock-related controversy toward the end.

The clock at LaVell Edwards Stadium appeared to show one second left after a CJ Carr pass was intended for Jaden Greathouse but fell incomplete. NBC rules analyst Terry McAulay said that there should have been a review afterward as a photo of the scoreboard was shared.

“There was indeed :01 on the bug clock when the pass hit the ground. Replay should have reviewed to determine if the in-stadium clock was at :01 at that point and if so, ND would have had one more play.”
