Marrying into a family athletes, as Taylor Swift did with Travis Kelce, means that you might be woken up for early morning workouts, as former NFL center Jason Kelce did.

On the Oct. 21, 2026, edition of New Heights, Travis Kelce recalled getting a phone call at 7:30 am from his older brother, who was asking about how many plates he has in his gym. Even the Kansas City Chiefs tight end acknowledged that this was a “meathead” moment for his brother.

Initially, receiving a phone call that early in the morning freaked him out. However, his brother just needed a spotter. As he walked out of the room, Swift said, “This is f**ked up.”

Obviously, no one likes abruptly being woken up from their sleep. Swift, the world's biggest pop star, was just like everyone else in this situation.

Swift and Kelce got married earlier in the summer on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden. They had a reported thousand guests at the nuptials. Jason Kelce was the best man at the wedding, which was officiated by Adam Sandler.

Now, Kelce is in the middle of his 14th year in the NFL. He re-signed with the Chiefs during the offseason after a disappointing 6-11 campaign last year.

So far, Kelce has caught 20 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns. The Chiefs are undefeated through six weeks of the year, and they will visit the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in Week 7.

They beat the Los Angeles Chargers, their division rivals, in Week 6 coming off their bye. Kelce caught five passes for 53 yards in the contest. He has not scored in a few weeks, though.

During his legendary career, Kelce has made 11 Pro Bowls and seven All-Pro teams (four First-team and three Second-team). He has helped the Chiefs win three Super Bowls as well.
