It had been years since Cruise went to a football game â he said he hadn't been to one since before the COVID-19 pandemic. He was taken aback by Swift's knowledge of the sport, which grew exponentially after starting to date her now-husband, Travis Kelce.
âÂÂWe talked about music and movies,â Cruise said about other parts of their conversation. âÂÂShe's funny; she's got a great sense of humor [and is] a brilliant writer.âÂÂ

Cruise was spotted sitting in a suite with Swift during the Chiefs' season opener against the Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium. Two of the biggest stars in the world were taking in the sights on Monday, Sep. 14.
The Chiefs cruised to a 31-10 victory over the division rivals in their first game of the year. It marked Patrick Mahomes' return from a torn ACL injury suffered in December. His numbers weren't gaudy, with only 184 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception, but it was great to see him back in the lineup. He even rushed for the Chiefs' first touchdown of the season on the team's opening drive.
Kelce turned back the clock on a 59-yard reception in the second half of the game. He led the Chiefs in receiving yards (71) and had three catches.
Cruise is currently doing press for his upcoming movie, Digger. He plays Digger Rockwell, a wealthy oil tycoon who wants to prove he's humanity's savior.
