Page Six reports that Swanepoel's former close friend of 15 years, Joan Smalls, previously hooked up with Brady. Apparently, while Smalls was dating the seven-time Super Bowl champion, Swanepoel “gave her a hard time” and “repeatedly” encouraged her to break up with him.
However, some time later, Swanepoel is now dating Brady. Smalls has taken some shots at her former best friend for dating him, and she allegedly presented her ex-friend with an “ultimatum.” She either had to choose her or Brady.

Reports about Brady and Swanepoel's romance only recently surfaced, but they've reportedly been dating for “a while.” They met through mutual friends in Miami, Florida, where they both live.
