OKLAHOMA CITY — Veteran Alex Caruso and the Oklahoma City Thunder just can't catch a break as the injury bug bites once more during the first half of Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns. GM Sam Presti announced that Jalen Williams will undergo surgery on his left ankle, which will most likely end his 2026-27 season. Cason Wallace will also go under the knife for a tear in his left shoulder. Now, it appears that Caruso could also miss time.
Caruso suffered a sprained right ankle in the second quarter, and has been ruled out for the rest of the night, per Thunder PR.
