The New England Patriots have won three consecutive games and are now 4-2 overall this season. Notably, Drake Maye has performed especially well in recent action following a difficult start to the year. Maye explained his resurgence while speaking to reporters on Tuesday, via Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald.
“(It’s) really just letting the game come to you. I think that's one of the biggest things I've tried to focus on,” Maye said. “You want to make the right play instead of the big play. And I've tried to really own that and get us to the right plays, and try to check the football and realize that that was really the main thing.”
Maye's play has helped the Patriots in a crucial manner to say the least. In the 26-16 win over the New York Jets this past Saturday, the QB threw for three touchdowns and 235 yards. He had 374 passing yards and five total touchdowns (four passing) in New England's 45-17 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders back on October 11.

AJ Brown returned from injury this past week, so his presence will only help the team moving forward. It remains to be seen if he will play in the next game, however.
As for that next game, New England is set to play the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football at 8:15 PM ET. It should be competitive as both teams will enter play with 4-2 overall records.
