As Houston Texans star wide receiver Nico Collins is dealing with a hamstring injury ahead of Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals, his status for the contest appears to be in grave danger. With Collins' availability for the Texans in doubt, his recent practice status could confirm everybody's fears.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday, NFL insider Ian Rapoport would speak on how Collins did not practice on Friday, which is never a good sign. Having suffered a hamstring injury earlier in the week in practice, his status for Sunday's game is “not great,” though the issue doesn't appear to be serious.

“Nico Collins did not practice today. That's not good,” Rapoport said. “He had a little hamstring pull early in the week. “Doesn't seem serious, but like no practice Thursday, no practice Friday. Generally, not great.”
