The Houston Texans have gotten off to an 0-4 start, something few would have predicted coming into the year. The team has what is supposed to be one of the best defenses in the NFL, as well as a quarterback in C.J. Stroud who the team was hoping would finally break out after a couple of mediocre seasons since his record-breaking rookie season.

Furthermore, the Texans traded for David Montgomery in the offseason. One half of the old Sonic and Knuckles duo was supposed to provide balance to Houston's offense. However, the Texans have been bitten by the injury bug in a big way this season, especially on the offensive side of the field. Jayden Higgins' season ended before it got going, and Tank Dell is currently on the injured reserve.

Now, the Texans are without Montgomery. The running back suffered a groin injury, which has him ruled out for the rest of the game against the Tennessee Titans.
