The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to have brought Mike McCarthy’s flaws with him. And Aaron Rodgers is trying to convince folks the offense is OK. But there’s concern. And this Michael Pittman Jr. injury update will catch fantasy football managers’ attention, according to a post on X by Brooke Pryor.

“Steelers WR Michael Pittman Jr., who was limited yesterday with a foot injury, wasn’t on the field during the open portion of practice.”

In his first game with the Steelers, Pittman caught three passes for 58 yards. He led the team in receiving yards. He played his first six NFL seasons with the Colts.

Pittman is important in the Steelers’ offensive scheme. He gives the team a solid pairing with DK Metcalf. And neither of those players tends to be effective without help on the other side. I picked Pittsburgh to win that division just because I believe in them up front. And I thought (Aaron) Rodgers would be better another year removed from the Achilles.”

Overall, it’s about patience for the Steelers’ offense, according to TribLive.com.

“The offense still has a ways to go,” Mark Madden said on his Madden Monday podcast. “But I wasn’t quite as discouraged as the lack of production probably should make me. All of DK’s dropped passes. I don’t think the protection was great. I think it’s just too early to tell because the starters, especially on offense, barely played together in the preseason.”
