In the offseason, the Seattle Seahawks lost Kenneth Walker III to free agency, leaving a hole in the running back room. The team drafted Jadarian Price out of Notre Dame with the final pick of the first round in the 2026 NFL Draft in an effort to replace Walker. Price is now heading to the IR, leaving another hole in the running back room.
With Price out and Zach Charbonnet still on the PUP list, the team has signed another running back to the roster, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The Seahawks have added eight-year veteran and two-time Pro Bowler Joe Mixon to the team. Mixon will wear the number 25 with the Seahawks. His initial role with the team is also now known, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
