Veteran cornerback Trevon Diggs won’t be on the Seahawks’ active roster for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

Diggs was released on Friday. The move opens a roster spot that the Seahawks could use to activate guard Anthony Bradford from injured reserve. Bradford has been designated for return and has no injury designation for this week.

The Seahawks signed Diggs to their practice after releasing him at the end of August. He was signed to the active roster a couple of weeks ago and he has one tackle in three appearances for the team.

Diggs’s most memorable moment with the Seahawks came in Week 5 when 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans turned Diggs’s shoulder to look at the back of his jersey to see who was jawing with him after a play.
