The Seahawks are set to have first-round pick Jadarian Price back on the practice field.
Price has been on injured for the last four games because of a chest injury, but head coach Mike Macdonald said on Seattle Sports Monday that the team expects to have the running back at practice this week. Once he’s formally designated for return, Price would be eligible to be activated for the team’s Monday night game against the Bears in Week 8.
“The plan is for JD to practice this week,” Macdonald said. “And then game status and all that, we don’t know yet.”
Zach Charbonnet was activated last week, but he was inactive for Sunday night’s win over the Chiefs. Macdonald did not commit to that changing against the Bears and said only that the team is committed to sticking with the process in the back’s return from a torn ACL.
Emanuel Wilson led the Seahawks rushing attack on Sunday with 24 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown.
