The Seattle Seahawks started their Super Bowl title defense with a loud bang, defeating the same team they took down in February to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy, as they clobbered Drake Maye and the New England Patriots at Lumen Field in Week 1, 13-10. And the Seahawks did that without the help of safety Nick Emmanwori.
The defensive back Emmanwori missed his team's 2026 NFL season opener as he continues to recover from an offseason surgery. But it appears that he is trending in the right direction for the upcoming Week 2 showdown between the Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Sunday.
Seattle released its latest injury report on Wednesday, listing Emmanwori as participating in practice in a limited capacity.
