The New Orleans Saints have yet to see what Jordyn Tyson could do on the field in the regular season.
The rookie wideout has been sidelined by a hamstring injury he suffered during a joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars in August.
The former Arizona State Sun Devils star wideout has since landed on the injured reserve, making him ineligible for the first four weeks of the season.
New Orleans head coach Kellen Moore's current short-term outlook for Tyson also doesn't sound too encouraging.
“Not at the moment, but we'll see,” Moore said when asked if he expects Tyson to practice next week, via Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Advocate.
The Saints offense has been robust despite missing Tyson, as they rank eighth in the league going into Week 4 with an average of 382.7 total yards per game and third with 281.3 passing yards per game behind the strong start of quarterback Tyler Shough to the season.

The Saints selected Tyson eighth overall in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
In his final two seasons with the Sun Devils, Tyson, who is the younger brother of Cleveland Cavaliers guard Jaylon, produced 1,812 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns on 136 receptions across 21 games.
This matchup between the Saints and the Falcons is one of the more pivotal early games of the 2026 season, particularly for the NFC South landscape. Both teams enter Week 4 with a 1-2 record, the same as the Carolina Panthers. If the Panthers lose their Week 4 assignment, the winner of the Saints-Falcons game will lead the division with the best record.
