Alvin Kamara will officially begin his 10th NFL season on Sunday afternoon. The veteran running back is off the injury report after recovering from an MCL sprain, per The 33rd Team's Ari Meirov, and will join the New Orleans Saints' backfield for what figures to be a taxing Week 2 road game versus the Baltimore Ravens.

Kamara is the franchise's all-time leader in rushing yards (7,250) and rushing touchdowns (61), but he declined sharply in 2025. The two-time Second-Team All-Pro averaged only 3.6 yards per carry in 11 games. There is obvious concern that Father Time has caught up to the 31-year-old, but Kamara was unhealthy for a good chunk of the season. So, perhaps he will be a bit more explosive in 2026.
