Coach Greg Schiano, on the hot seat ahead of Week 3, led his Rutgers football team against USC football in Week 3 but came up short in a 42-35 loss that had several silver linings. The game started with good news as previously injured QB Dylan Lonergan was able to play and continued as the KJ Duff-led passing game sizzled vs. Lincoln Riley's team.

Duff, a massive 6-foot-6 wide receiver from Riverhead, New York, looked like he belonged in a USC uniform as he put on a show with 7 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. At 225 pounds, Duff proved to be a matchup nightmare against a Trojans team that hasn't exactly made defense its calling card under Riley's leadership.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz shared that Duff is drawing major NFL interest so far this season while sharing his thoughts and a highlight package. He called him a “supersized” wide receiver with ridiculous body control as he introduced him to the world on X.

Rutgers’ KJ Duff is another supersized wide receiver drawing major NFL interest. At 6-6, check out his ridiculous body control and toe-tap on this TD vs USC.

Duff, in three games this season, already has 24 catches, 417 yards and 6 TDs. Special. pic.twitter.com/0Y4p8EMxit https://t.co/rMDWFEgDuJ

Longergan had 253 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort against the Trojans that showed he has what it takes to start the rest of the season over AJ Surace, who filled in vs. Boston College. Antwan Raymond racked up 122 yards on 21 carries with a touchdown, showing that the Knights' rushing attack has what it takes to support its strong passing game.

Friday, September 25 will bring the Howard Bison to town for a game while October 4 will ramp up the difficulty yet again with Curt Cignetti's Indiana Hoosiers set to make a visit. Duff has the size and skill to give anyone headaches, now it's time for coach Schiano and his staff to find more ways to get him involved.
