Penn State was well in control of its game against Wisconsin on Saturday. Then, the Nittany Lions gave up two touchdowns in the last four minutes of the game as Wisconsin stunned Penn State with a 24-20 victory.

Now, quarterback Rocco Becht is talking about the loss and the team's response, according to Tyler Donohue of Lions247.

“Rocco Becht says there was a ‘players meeting' on Monday. It's not a regularly scheduled thing, but ‘when we feel like it needs to happen.'” Donohue posted on X, formerly Twitter.

“We all looked at each other and said we still have everything in front of us. … We're still in this, and we believe in one another,” Becht added.

Becht was not great in the game. He completed just 12 of 29 passes in the game for 114 yards and an interception. He also ran for 23 yards and scored a touchdown. The defense was solid for three quarters of the game. They picked off Colton Joseph three times, but also allowed him to run in a score and throw two touchdown passes. Despite the loss, Becht knows the team needs to respond.

“We really wanted to get back in on Sunday and get everything moving again. Watch the film, correct the things that need to be corrected, and then move on to Northwestern,” Becht said.

While the Nittany Lions dropped to 3-1 on the season, they still can achieve their goals. The team has a manageable schedule, with just one ranked team still on the slate. That is against USC on October 10 at home, in a White Out. Penn State will face Northwestern on Friday night.
