The Ravens had a rough go of it at quarterback on Sunday and it could leave them short on options for Thursday night’s game against the Jaguars.
Lamar Jackson was knocked out with a right thumb injury early in the game and head coach Jesse Minter said he could miss the rest of the season after having surgery. Tyler Huntley replaced him, but also had to leave after suffering a toe injury.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Huntley is believed to have turf toe and will have an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. That would also fill in information about the extent of his absence from the lineup, but the quick turnaround to Thursday seems like too much to ask given Huntley’s inability to return to Sunday’s loss to the Bills.
Rookie Joe Fagnano was the emergency quarterback on Sunday and went 10-of-21 for 91 yards and an interception after the two injuries. The Ravens do not have a quarterback on the practice squad, so they’ll need to do something to give themselves more than one healthy player at the position against Jacksonville.
