Junior Caminero left an imprint on the Tampa Bay Rays' third-ever American League pennant victory, but he is not yet playing at the MVP-level that fans were accustomed to seeing during the regular season. Perhaps that will change in the World Series. The 20-year-old third baseman is dialed in ahead of Friday night's Game 1 collision with the Milwaukee Brewers. Just look at the carnage he left in American Family Field on Thursday.

During batting practice, Caminero pummeled a baseball that bounced off the scoreboard and caused a glitch, per WTSP-TV's Evan Closky. He does not need to hit home runs to make an impact — the Rays have done just fine without unleashing maximum power — but one big shot could prove mighty valuable when facing runaway National League Cy Young Jacob Misiorowski and the Brewers' elite bullpen. The two-time All-Star seems ready for action.
