The New England Patriots are trudging through a flood of injuries and enduring plenty of adversity in Thursday's road matchup versus the Chicago Bears, and yet, they were only down six points at halftime. Rhamondre Stevenson infused new hope into what had largely been a miserable first half in Soldier Field, and did so with one blazing 48-yard rushing touchdown.
With just three seconds remaining before halftime, the veteran running back punched the home crowd right in the gut and put the Patriots back within one possession of Chicago. The Bears will be cursing themselves for the defensive breakdown, just as New England is likely to do after surrendering a Luther Burden III TD on third-and-17 with 14 ticks left in the second quarter. It is a brand new game now.
