The Seattle Seahawks will be facing old friend Kenneth Walker III and the surging Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. But a couple of key Seahawks defenders may not be at full strength to help stop Walker from running all over them.

Per ESPN's Seahawks beat reporter Brady Henderson, linebackers DeMarcus Lawrence and Uchenna Nwosu have both been added to the injury report ahead of the Chiefs game. Lawrence is reportedly dealing with a knee issue, while Nwosu has a hip injury.

The Seahawks' Super Bowl title defense has not been going smoothly thus far. They are 3-3 and are coming off back-to-back losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. Last season's hero, Sam Darnold, has been struggling mightily following the glute injury he suffered in Week 1.

However, their run defense has more than done its part thus far this season. They are giving up just 3.5 yards per carry and four total rushing touchdowns, which are among the best marks in the league.

The Seahawks defense will have their hands full against Walker III, who is having a historic start to his stint with the Chiefs. The reigning Super Bowl MVP currently leads the league with 665 rushing yards. That also happens to be the most for a player in his first five games with a new team in NFL history.

Stopping Walker III will get that much harder if Lawrence and Nwosu are both unable to play or limited against the Chiefs, who are one of the three remaining undefeated teams left in the league.
