Ravens will put rookie WR Ja’Kobi Lane on IR

Ravens wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane is going to miss the next stretch of the season.

Lane fractured his wrist in the season-opening win over the Colts and head coach Jesse Minter said at a Wednesday press conference that the team is going to place the rookie on injured reserve. Lane needed surgery to address the injury and will have to miss at least four games while he’s recovering.

Lane had one catch for 11 yards and another catch for a touchdown on a play that was wiped out by a penalty.

Minter said Zay Flowers remains day-to-day with the hamstring injury that knocked him out of the Colts game. Chris Moore will be signed off the practice squad to add depth to the receiver group.
