The Baltimore Ravens nabbed a huge primetime win over the Atlanta Falcons, and more good news is on the horizon. After last Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, Lamar Jackson suffered an ankle injury that kept him out of the trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Baltimore still pulled off a 30-23 overtime win, led by backup quarterback Tyler Huntley, who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns and added six carries for 20 yards.

Now, according to Ian Rapoport on NFL Network's Good Morning Football, Jackson could be nearing a return in Week 6 action.

“To my understanding, he's actually closer than people realize this week, so there is some hope from the Baltimore Ravens that next week he will be back on the field. He has been rehabbing extremely diligently inside the team facility to try to get back,” Rappaport said about Jackson.

Lamar Jackson has a phenomenal start to the 2026 season. In four games, he's thrown for 967 yards and six touchdowns with only one interception, and a 70.8% completion percentage. He has also been fishing on the ground, rushing for 144 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries this season.

The update that Jackson could be ready to go in week 6 echoes what Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said about Jackson ramping up to return to action, in a quote obtained by USA Today.

“To Lamar's credit, this dude's working his tail off to get back,” Minter said, per USA Today. “He's in there all the time. Don't know the specifics of next week, but he'll be doing everything in his power to get back.”
