The Baltimore Ravens are currently gearing up for their upcoming home game vs the Cincinnati Bengals, with no word yet on whether or not Lamar Jackson will be back in the lineup. The Ravens are coming off an ugly road loss to the Cleveland Browns over the weekend, one in which the offense managed to put just 10 points on the board with Tyler Huntley in at quarterback.
Ravens offensive coordinator Declan Doyle understandably wasn't thrilled with his team's offensive output in the loss.
“What we put on tape wasn’t up to our standard,” he said, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.
Hensley reported that “Doyle said he went over 25 plays the next day with players to try to correct them.”
It's certainly not a surprise that the Ravens would undergo an intense film session after such an ugly performance to try to bounce back from the rough performance. The Ravens still hung in for the entire afternoon against Cleveland thanks to the Browns' own struggles on offense, but Cleveland ultimately ended up getting the win thanks to a walk-off field goal, with Ravens star running back Derrick Henry putting the ball on the ground in a crucial fumble earlier in the fourth quarter.
Article Continues BelowWhile the Ravens understandably won't have the same level of offensive electricity with Jackson out of the lineup, Huntley proved that he is capable of leading the offense to respectability with his performance in the previous game against the Atlanta Falcons on the road, engineering two huge drives in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead his team to victory.
In any case, the Ravens and Bengals are slated to kick things off on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET from Baltimore.
