The Baltimore Ravens are already dealing with the injury bug just one week into the season. They lost wide receivers Zay Flowers and Ja'Kobi Lane and cornerback TJ Tampa in their win over the Indianapolis Colts, 41-23, on Sunday.

Flowers went down with a hamstring injury and was listed as day-to-day. Lane is out indefinitely due to a wrist injury, while Tampa suffered a knee injury and is expected to sit out against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 at M&T Bank Stadium.

With the Ravens' receiving corps taking a big hit, they are set to add wide receiver Chris Moore to the main roster, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zriebec.

“(It) may not necessarily happen for a few days, but that's the plan before Sunday's game against the Saints,” reported Zriebec on X.

In July, Moore signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Ravens after a two-year stint with the Washington Commanders. A month later, he was placed on the practice squad.

He was activated against the Colts, recording one catch for 53 yards. He played 16 snaps on special teams and 25 snaps on offense.

The 33-year-old Moore is in his second stint in Baltimore after playing for the team from 2016 to 2020. The Ravens drafted him in the fourth round.

He had his best year with the Houston Texans in 2022, tallying 48 receptions for 548 yards and two touchdowns.

Moore has adequate experience to help the Ravens' offense, and it will be interesting to see whether coach Jesse Minter will continue to utilize him on special teams against the Saints.
