On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens hit the field at home for a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, a matchup of two AFC North rivals. The Ravens played this game once again without Lamar Jackson, with Tyler Huntley getting the start in his place.

The Ravens got out to an impressive 13-0 lead in this one, but things took a turn for the worse when guard Vega Ione went down with an injury.

“The Ravens declare Vega Ioane out with a knee injury,” reported Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic on X, formerly Twitter.

Shortly after Ioane went down with an injury, the Bengals scored 14 straight points to open up the second half, and the Ravens suddenly found themselves trailing for the first time all afternoon.

Baltimore entered this game looking to bounce back after dropping an ugly game vs the Cleveland Browns last week, which was the second straight they had played without the injured Jackson.

Huntley has fared relatively well in his absence, but Baltimore would certainly like to have its multi-time MVP back sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, Ioane is one of the key offensive linemen on a Ravens team that recently traded for center Cam Jurgens of the Philadelphia Eagles, and the team will hope that the knee injury is nothing that will keep him out over the long haul.

In any case, following the conclusion of the Bengals game, the Ravens will next hit the field next week for a road game against the Buffalo Bills. Kickoff for that game is set for 1:00 pm ET.
