The Baltimore Ravens are currently gearing up for their upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans at home. The Ravens are coming off a thrilling win over the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil, in a game in which Lamar Jackson completed a deep pass with under ten seconds left to put the team in range for the game-winning field goal.
On Wednesday, the team got a troubling update regarding that day's practice.
“Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is not practicing Wednesday,” reported NFL insider Jamison Hensley of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.
However, Hensley did note that “Jackson did talk to reporters before practice and spoke like he was playing Sunday.”
Sunday's game against the Titans would, in theory, be one of the more favorable contests for Jackson to miss this year, if such an event were to pass, but clearly, Ravens fans would still like to have their two-time MVP on the field as often as possible this season.
It's unclear what specific ailment Jackson is dealing with currently as the Ravens look to come down from the emotional high of the Cowboys win and lock back in for their next opponent.
Jackson has looked mostly elite so far this year, save for a tough second half against the New Orleans Saints in Baltimore's lone loss of the season so far.
In any case, the Ravens and Titans are slated to hit the field on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET in Baltimore. Up next for the Ravens will be a road game against the Atlanta Falcons the following week.
