When the Los Angeles Rams traded a king's ransom to acquire Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns, they likely expected more than 40 snaps of production through the first five weeks of the season.

Making his debut for Los Angeles on the other side of the globe in Melbourne, Australia, Garrett aggravated a knee injury that had been plaguing him for much of the summer, resulting in surgery to clean things up and an absence of at least a month to recover.

Discussing Garrett's timeline on NFL Live, NFL Network National Insider Ian Rapoport revealed where the Defensive Player of the Year is at in his recovery and when fans should expect to see him back on the field again.

“Speaking of the Rams, you saw these shots of Myles Garrett on the sideline last night,” Rapoport said. “Not on the field, on the sideline, still coming back after knee surgery. I was told it was a six-week-or-so recovery. That would put him back about Week 7, so I wouldn't be surprised if he starts practicing at some point this week, but not quite ready yet for Myles.”

This is a developing story.
