Los Angeles Rams star Myles Garrett has immense excitement to share the field with Aaron Donald ahead of Week 9 of the 2026 NFL season.

Garrett has been playing in the league since 2017, going through his first year with the Rams. He shines as one of the best defenders in the game, winning two Defensive Player of the Years awards in 2023 and 2025.

Garrett had high expectations upon his arrival to Los Angeles, seeing Cleveland trade him there for Jared Verse and draft compensation. However, he had arthroscopic surgery on his knee after the season opener. He missed several weeks until he got himself back up to speed and prepare for Week 9.

Garrett spoke with media on Friday about his return to the field. He talked about his connection with Donald, one that he looks forward to maximizing throughout their time in the game together as a defensive duo.

“Looking forward to the opportunity to get on the field and actually play some real snaps with him,” Garrett said.
