The Las Vegas Raiders kept pace with the Kansas City Chiefs before running out of gas in crunch time, losing by three points, 30-27, at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.

The Raiders absorbed their first loss, while the Chiefs stay undefeated at 4-0.

While Las Vegas is not content with a moral victory, there were plenty of positives to take away from Week 4, including the continued emergence of Ashton Jeanty. He had 15 carries for 58 yards, the bright spot in the Raiders' running game.

The 22-year-old Jeanty dealt with an ankle issue in the offseason, but he said it is not nagging him anymore.

“I'm going to continue to keep getting better and getting stronger. I feel like I'm going to be 100% real soon,” said the second-year running back in a video posted by Vegas Sports Today.

“Definitely started feeling good. Feel like I’m gonna be 100% real soon. Starts with us, starts with me—gotta break tackles.”

He rued their loss to the Chiefs, stressing that they “gotta be better.”

“As simple as that. Make the plays out there. It starts with us. It starts with me. Gotta break tackles and just make bigger plays,” added last year's No. 6 pick.

“We're gonna play until the clock hits zero. We're gonna fight and find a way to try to win. We fell short today. We're gonna watch the film, regather everything, and come back to attack next week.”

Jeanty briefly exited in the third quarter. He hobbled off the field and returned early in the fourth quarter.

He suffered the ankle injury during practice in August, landing awkwardly after diving for a pass.

The Raiders will visit the New England Patriots in Week 5.
